The Clay to Bronze Sculpture of Devon Dorrity

In life you have to make choices as to where you spend your time.  Each minute you spend on one activity takes away from another.  Finding a balance that allows you to keep your sanity and create memories and a legacy that you can be proud to pass on is the great challenge we all face.  Our time is short, so choose wisely, prioritize and help others along the way.  For only they will remember you when you are gone.

10 Magical Pebble Paths That Flow Like Rivers

The garden or back-yard is one of the best places in a home for the home-owner to express their creative side. Why surround all those beautiful plants with an ugly path when you can create a creative stone garden path that looks like a work of art? We collected this list to show you what a well-done pebble garden path can look like.

River stones and pebbles worked really well for the projects in these pictures, but just about any stone can work as long as you can think of a cool design with it and turn it into a stable path.

Let’s check in on the decadent, completely inedible, yet perfectly wearable shoes from The Shoe Bakery (previously featured here). The Orlando, Florida-based company is run by Chris Campbell, who loves both shoes and sweets so much that he decided to combine them in the form of outrageously tantalizing ice cream, cake and donut-themed footwear.

If you’ve got a specific dessert and shoe combination in mind, Campbell happily accepts custom orders. Each mouthwatering pair of Shoe Bakery shoes takes about 3-6 weeks to design, create and ship. Prices range from $200 to $400 US, which should provide you with all the more incentive to refrain from trying to eat them.

Visit The Shoe Bakery’s website to check out more of their enticingly iced footwear.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy - Dancing Groot

“Baby Groot dancing is 100 percent me. I was too embarrassed for anyone to be there, so I made everyone leave the room and I set up a camera and I videotaped myself dancing. Then I sent the video to the animators and had them animate over that. I begged them not to leak the video! Two of my closest friends came to an early screening and said ‘Hey, I recognize those moves! That’s you dancing isn’t it?!’” - Vin Diesel

reblogged before but that comment just makes it that much better

Vin Diesel is actually precious and we must protect him

"So who is he, I wonder?" Sherlock says taking a dainty sip of his tea as he leans far back and slightly into her personal space. "Certainly not the world’s greatest expert meat daggers. But somebody else entirely different." His lips twitch up in a smile at her angry blush. "Will you be mean to him too?"

Molly grips her book tighter. “No, I will not.” She snaps it closed, dropping it over the yellow rose she’d brought as a sign for her blind date, who, ironically, was actually him. “The man who is coming here is completely unlike you.”

Sherlock did his best to not spoil the game just yet. “But he’s not here.”

"Well," Molly held her chin a little higher, but he managed to notice it wobbled for just a second. "If he’s not, he has a reason because there is not a cruel or careless bone in his body. But I wouldn’t expect you to understand."

So, I think I just thought of a You’ve Got Mail/Shop Around the Corner AU where Sherlock and Molly are consulting forensic pathologists, who met as “strangers” in an unsolved-mysteries chat room online and consequently fell in love with each other would knowing it.

Apologies to Nora Ephron and to those of you rolling your eyes at a rip-off AU.
